FALL BALL

Fall ball began Saturday, September 14.  We're playing Saturdays through October 19.  We have four teams and rosters are full.

Again this year, we have one division (rather than separate women's and open divisions). Everyone registers as a free agent and is assigned to a team.

If you're new and have questions about CAPS, check out the Need a Team? link above for more info.

Check the calendar at right for key dates, and beneath it sign up for our general email list.

About CAPS

The Chesapeake & Potomac Softball League (CAPS) is a non-profit organization founded in 1983 to establish a friendly place for LGBTQ people in the greater Washington/Baltimore metropolitan areas to play softball, learn and/or enhance softball skills and meet new people.

Our league offers two divisions.  Our Open Division, a member of the North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance (NAGAAA), is made up of co-ed teams placed in divisions based on skill level.  Our Women's Division, a member of the Amateur Sports Alliance of North America (ASANA), is made up of teams of players identifying as women.

In addition, CAPS is an active member of Team DC, which promotes LGBTQ individual and teams sports and club participation.
